Craig and I walked around Wilmington this morning, on the River Walk.  It was overcast, but not cold.
Our hotel was right on the river, and this picture was out our window.
A lot of very old building that they are trying to preserve.

Venus fly trap sculpture down by the river
Craig's next boat?
Surely, he doesn't want this one ?

Then, we headed down or up the road to Williamsburg. Virginia.  No rain along the way, but some beautiful wildflowers.

Craig drove 5 miles out of his way so that I could take pictures of the flowers.  What a nice husband !
We have picked the perfect time of year for our trip!  The weather is not too warm and the hotel prices have been pretty reasonable.  Just think .. we will not have to take any more vacations in the summer !
Going to tour Colonial Williamsburg tomorrow.

  1. The flowers are beautiful. Oh and yesterday, you are so lucky to own one of those beautiful SweetGrass baskets. Take your time and enjoy Colonial Williamsburg. Lots of history as I'm sure you know. I am loving your pictures.
