Left Tucson at 0910, heading to Karchner Caverns, where we have 11 AM reservations. Got gas at Sam's Club at $3.77 a gallon.
After Kartchner, which was beautiful!!!, we headed to Benson for lunch. We have been using the Autoclub Tour Book and website, and have been very pleased so far. Ate at a small local cafe, Palatianos, which had marvelous food. We are thankful that we did not eat at the cafe at Kartchner's !
Then, headed on to Albuquerque. This was the longest leg of our trip as we wanted to be in Albuquerque to spend time with our friends, Katie and Steve. Katie took the day off on Tuesday to spend time with us! We went 550 miles today.
